Divide or Division
There's no divide function in Excel. For divide(/), All formulas in Excel must begin with an equals sign (=)
Type the equal sign, and then type numbers that are separated by a forward slash sign (/) which is arithmetic operator.
- For example, =500/82
- Press RETURN .
- If you use the example numbers, the result is 32.
These values can be numbers, cell references.
